Sleep over

AND....we did it again... We had a sleepover with the Fords again.  This time Justin was out of town so we bunked up over there.  The kids (and me and Tami) had a great time.  I am thinking this will be a regular thing....
First activity... painting toenails.  Even Isaac joined in on the fun.

Then, it was off to bike/scooter/tricycle riding

Olivia road a bike for the first time.  Good stuff.  She did great.  She seemed to enjoy it alot more then Elaina does.  Elaina could take or leave her bike.  Makes me sad but we keep getting her on it in hopes she will love it one day soon.

This is what Elaina preferred doing....

Olivia was so happy riding Elaina's bike...

Later after dinner (which happened to be these AMAZING waffles that were Tami's dad's recipe), the kids crashed out....Girls slept in the bed together.

Saturday morning breakfast - cereal

Then, the kids played with shaving cream.  I have heard of this but never done it with Elaina.  We put food coloring in it and they loved it.  Messy, but fun.

Next... Easter Egg hunt.  We'll be having those until October :)

Love!

And there was lots of trampoline jumping.  I joined in on the action on Saturday morning with the kids.  Tami snuck my picture with my camera....boo!  But, the memories are good.

Easter Happiness

Easter was fun, yet again, this year.  We spent the day getting dressed in our Sunday best, going to church to celebrate that HE IS ALIVE and hanging with family at a park.  The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, the company was divine.....what else could you want?  All added up to a great day!  We even got a nap since Elaina was so tired she crashed on the way home.  So, we all got comfy on the couch and got naps in.  Super big bonus on the day.
The Easter Bunny came and as always went WAY overboard.  He can't help it.  He (She) really has issues.

A movie for the whole family.  We watched it together as a family and it is a cute movie.

She got some new bows in her basket... she's modeling them both

After we got dressed, I had to pull her outside for a pre-church pose....
Speaking of posing....

Sweetness

I have a picture last Easter just like this - different outfits.

See....last year, Easter 2011

This is the meaning of "love" to me...

Next, we headed to Clark Park in Oak Ridge to celebrate with the Stringfellows.  It was a ton of fun.  The kids played, the adults laughed/chatted, and everyone ate.  The weather was perfect...  Elaina and I did a see-saw together (above)

Liana and Elaina... it took a LOT to get them to both look in this picture

When Kelsey got there she brought Fun Dip for all 3 of them...  Here they are enjoying.  Sugar... no wonder Elaina crashed out when we got  home.

The whole gang eating/talking and enjoying the day and company.

Good Friday

Good Friday was great!!  Elaina and I went to my mom's for our annual easter egg dying and painting...  We had fun as always....  Erik had to work :(  Boo!
Elaina and her Granny

I love this picture of Alexandra and Elaina

Quentin and Elaina

On the way to mom's I stopped at the bakery that is right by her house... found these festive treats :)

This could be reason that running is not making me lose weight, you think??

Next, it was on to painting eggs... look at the concentration on that kid

This picture makes me smile :)

Aunt Nell - look at the concentration on that kid :)

Alexandra wins the award for best egg painter - she does every year....

This is the bowl of painted eggs from years past... very festive.  I love it.  My mom puts it out every Easter.  I told my mom that I want it.  Hopefully that will happen some day :)  May have to fight a sister or two for it.

Then it was on to egg hunting....

Alexandra and Aunt Kate

And then at home, we played with the timer shot on the camera... Elaina loves to do that.  A family shot on the couch... our favorite spot, especiallywhen we're all together
