Um.........?

I am behind...the most behind I have ever been.  I've had half a mind to scrap the blog all together.  But, really, I don't want to do that.  We love having the memories/pictures recorded.  So, for now.  I'm going to get caught up.    This will be the most condensed catch up ever.

Let's see....we left off with Halloween/fall fun.

Then there was was Thanksgiving.   We hosted at our house this year for my dad's side of the family.  It was great.  Not a single picture to share of that day.

Next was December....Christmas time, so, of course, I have some photos of this.

Let's go.

We did our usual Fantasy of Trees visit to get us in the spirit.  She got her face painted (as always) and we made all sort of other crafts.  I think I have officially 6 pot holder with her hand print on them.

We went to the living Christmas Tree performance with our small group - look how sweet our kids are.

Elaina and her best buds from school came over on a Friday to decorate cookies.  Super fun!

We went back to the Dixie Stampede this year...it's always a good time.

Elaina LOVES the chicken they serve...it's the primary reason she loves going.
And then Christmas Day happened.  Santa came.  We had fun.  We got to spend Christmas morning with my sister Abby, her husband, Doug, and kiddos - Sadie and Celia.  That was awesome.  So, the living room was on giant Santa Clause visit.  It was awesome.

Like Thanksgiving, I hosted most of my dad's side of the family on Christmas morning too.  Super fun...!  I loved that my dad's sisters/brothers and all their kids got to spend time together.  It's been a long time since that happened so it was nice.

Later Christmas Day, we went to Erik's parents to celebrate.

The little girls opened gifts....first.  Liana, Kelsey and Elaina

Had to throw this one in there...Elaina got the Easy Bake Oven she had been dying for.  Love the face
Christmas Day was busy....but fun and special

January - we had a few snow days...

Grace (neighbor), Elaina, and her friend Katherine played outside

This was a different day - her friend Aleena came over to play - they got to swing on Elaina's new swing she got for Christmas (which is awesome, btw)

Since it was a snow day...we played some minute to win it games (just the 3 of us).  Some pics of the "pic up as much as you can from one bowl with a spoon in your mouth and put it into the other bowl game"??

That wraps up December and January....
