Fall shananigans

Since I stay behind on this blog, let's just re-cap the highlights of this fall since I got back from my trip to Ireland.  Besides....you would be surprised if I didn't have a super long post.

First we had Halloween.  Elaina was a cat.  I love that she was not a princess this  year.

Then, she had an idea to go outside and pose by the tree since she was a cat.

We went trick or treating with her friend Kaitlyn who, coincidentally, a crazy cat lady.  We did not know that we when we showed up.

The night before Halloween we carved pumpkins as we have in the past.  We painted a few too.

Getting goo out of the inside....

My cousin got married in October so we got to see lots of family which was nice.  We got to keep Sloane one day...love that.

Here is my cousin Rachel getting married - it's a lame phone photo but it works.  My uncle married them.

And now on to some random pics...

Elaina got this pink mustache after a dentist appointment.  So cute!
We spent a random Saturday at Dollywood with her friend Laurel.  We had a fun day together.

I attended a field trip with Elaina to the Smokey Mountain Heritage Museum.  It was fun spending the day with her.  She really got into learning about how people lived in the  late 1800's and early 1900's

They got to play several old time games - you know, before video games and screens.  Now, there's a concept!

Elaina's cheer season ended.  They had an end of the year party and Elaina got this trophy which she was super pumped about.  It has a spinning component on it.   She enjoyed another year of cheer.

My sister and Erik and ran a 5k last weekend.  I stunk it up pretty bad but hey - at least I was out there.  The weather was perfect for a run

After

And finally....Elaina learned to ride the riding lawn mower on her own.  She loved it.  Blades are off - I was a nervous wreck but Erik was close by.
