Where do I begin??

Let's just start here....

Happy New Year!

This was from New Year's Eve...midnight!
Yes, that is how far behind I am.

Next up was Valentines Day.  Erik and I celebrated the weekend before at my mom's lakehouse for the weekend.  I am glad we chose that weekend because it was gorgeous!!!  Perfect weather, relaxing time, good company.

Once lakeside selfie to commemorate the weekend.
Valentines Day weekend, Elaina's friend Laurel stayed the weekend with us.  They made Valentines oreo cake pops..

As usual when Laurel comes over, they love to make us breakfast.  This was on Valentines Day so it was a celebratory breakfast.  This time (unlike last time) they made the coffee and tea last so it wasn't cold :)  Laurel said "my daddy told me that next time we do it we should make the coffee and tea last."

They even rolled the silverware up in napkins
Next up for the day...they delivered their oreo cake pops to the neighbors.
It was so nice.  They were able to pass out a few to the neighbors.  Elaina kept saying "let's go sell these."  I had to remind her several times that we were GIVING them away.  Lol

And, then sometime during the days following Valentines Day, we got a lot of snow.....and ice....and some more snow.  Like last year, school was called off a lot.  It was nice...and at times not so convenient because I was out of town for some of those days which makes it hard on Erik

Anyways...on to the snow...

Erik showing off his photography skills...very nice!

There was lots of playing in the snow but it was always short lived...it was COLD!

snow angel

Her friend, Katherine, came over one day - can you see the love?

Icicles
Yum!

And we did some sledding one of the days...  this is the best video from the day.  There were lots.  I must say, we have a pretty great sledding driveway.

Ginormous icicle
And finally...while I was out of town Erik took this picture of Elaina (I mean, Elsa) in the snow.  Aunt Kate's idea....Cute.  You can see how cold she looks, I mean frozen - Ha!
