Oh yeah, Oh yeah!!!

The other morning, Elaina and I were out back playing with her t-ball set.  She hit the ball and busts out with a celebration cheer that cracked me up.  It's a short cheer but I wanted to share.  The video goes on longer then just that but I don't know how to shorten it down so you get the whole thing.  I hope it makes it make you smile as it made me smile.......

Happy Father's Day!!!!

For Father's Day we celebrated our favorite dad, Erik :).  He had to be at church all weekend so after we went to the early services, we cooked up some rice krispie treats for him before he got home (Elaina's idea - and not a bad one if you ask me).  Here she is cooking up a storm.....

We added chocolate to the top of them - they were peanut butter rice krispie treats so this made them super delicious.  We added a little decoration for fun.

Here is the final product with all the cards we made him.

A close up of the treats - the blob to the left is a "house" that Elaina built for him.

And a quick video of Elaina while making her card for Erik......

Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there!!  And to Erik, you are the greatest!  Elaina and I love you so very much!

10 YEARS!!!

So, I know that I posted our Vegas trip which was our way of celebrating our 10 year anniversary.  But, I have not mentioned the day of our actual anniversary.  May 16, 2011 - it was exciting - we both worked.  Yah!  No seriously, it was great.  I was delivered this awesome edible arrangment bouquet at work (which I LOVED).  Guess I should mention that Erik sent them to me??? :)  I love those things - super delicious.  The most memorable part of the gift was the card.  It read:

Happy Anniversary!  Save me a cinnamon apple.  Love, Erik

(if you know Erik, you know how funny that is).  He's so silly. I laughed when I read that.  But very sweet and I love him so!

I did fix dinner that night (Elaina helped me set the table) :)  We enjoyed a quiet dinner at home with Elaina.  Super fun - my kind of night!

I am so blessed to be married for 10 years to such an awesome man!

Alexandra

A few weeks ago, Elaina and I went to see my neice, Alexandra, perform in a baton competition.  We were not able to stay long but we did see Alexandra do some of her "tricks."  We love Alexandra ("Xan" as we jokingly like to call her).  We think she is the greatest baton twirler that ever was!!  We are so proud of you, Alexandra!!

Just a tribute to her....

Look how beautiful....
Elaina and Alexandra - Alexandra is trying her hardest to get Elaina to be a twirler like her.
